We are lucky to have Scott Rimer back as Boys Head Counselor.  He is entering his 20th summer at Watitoh and his 11th as Boys Head Counselor. During the rest of the year, Scott is a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Central Catholic School in New Philadelphia, Ohio. A University of West Virginia Alum, Scott is an avid sports fan and shares his love for sports with all of camp, especially boys camp. He is proud to share that he has brought 16 former students to Watitoh as counselors and his brother, Thadd, met his wife at camp, when he was a counselor. Scott has been to Six Flags New England 18 times, won Watitoh Gardens (the highly anticipated evening activity of Waiters v. Staff basketball game) twice as the coach of the Waiters, and is a former Chief of Staff, for Color War, of the Green Bruins in 1997.

As Boys Head Counselor, Scott oversees the general well being of all of the campers and staff on boys side of camp and works closely with the cabin counselors and Group Leaders to have a pulse of what is happening in the boys bunks. Scott lives and breathes everything boys camp and is committed to upholding  “B-O-Y-S the Best.”
